Goodbye dear friend

We received the sad news that our lovely friend Tim died today, after a very short but brave battle with an aggressive illness. We can hardly believe it as he visited twice last year and built us a new log shed as well as helped take down the trees behind the pool.
We didn't go to his birthday party last September as it coincided with my daughter's wedding day, but here he is having received the bottle of our local cognac that we sent as compensation.
