Bedraggled

Thank you so much for all the stars and hearts for yesterday's Yellow Wagtail, which is sitting up on page 1 of the populars.  I must admit it's rather loud in colour.

It's miserable here today but still reasonably warm.  The flowers are either flattened with raindrops or, like the daisies, staying firmly closed for the day.

I couldn't resist this male Great Spotted Woodpecker, who not only looks wet but dirty too.  Not a good shot as it was taken through the kitchen window.
