The lipstick beetle

I've spent the day in the garden enjoying the sunshine, cutting the grass edges (which JJ always seems to forget) and forking big weeds out of the lawn.  Not the daisies though, I like them.

I spotted this Cardinal Beetle on one of the Acers and after a while he seemed to get used to me poking the camera at it.  My contribution to Wild Wednesday.
