Long ago and far away

Long ago and faraway, in fact 33 years ago to the day,in the Swedish city of Gothenburg, Aberdeen Football Club beat the great Real Madrid 2-1 to win a major European trophy. The following year we beat Hamburg to win the European Super Cup. Still the only Scottish club to win 2 European Trophies.
We call this day Gothenburg Day. So ' Happy Gothenburg Day ' to een an' a'.
