Whee!

Well, as though not as exciting as yesterday's photo, this little Skipper just made me laugh, coming in for a landing on the Coneflower. I only wish I could have gotten the little bugger in focus!

I had been out taking photos of the Skippers....they are marvelous subjects with their *huge* eyes and little brown bodies (females) that show every little detail on their wings! Unfortunately, the Skipper I had been focussed on left and this little one came into the frame. When I saw it, I had to giggle. She is so cute!

So, use your imagination....she landed on that flower in the next photo I took!
