Barbecue season is upon us, although today was that bit colder, and by the evening as I mooched around the allotment sowing a few seeds it was almost getting cold.

Florence fennel, among other things.  I've never had any success yet.  

They sell delicious Monteith's beer from New Zealand in the local shop. It's having a very positive impact on our Wednesday.
