Charlotte's birthday at the weekend............first without Grandma.........another bittersweet day.

Organised and pragmatic as ever, when Helen knew she wouldn't be here for this birthday she arranged some presents. These are presents from the Daughter and I...........mainly clothes........she's growing again....but some toys........they need wrapping and hiding.

Back to the doctors today......the swollen left leg is responding to the medication.......but the doc now thinks the problem may be circulatory.........so another week and a half on the meds and then BNP blood tests.........and if they come back positive..........a treatment plan........more meds?............minor surgery?............major surgery?

A bit of a telling off from the Doc..........."If you'd come when you first noticed this in September.............", and then a pause.................although you were a "bit busy" in September..........yeah, like looking after a wife dying from cancer......still we're hopeful it will be sorted pretty soon.
