Ducklings

Today I painted at open studio. There were just three of us and we had a great time together. I worked on my interior shadow painting of our dining room with a strong sunlit shadow of Mehitabel. I am thinking of calling it "Shadow of the Cat" or "Mehitabel". You can see the painting in the extras. I am not finished but I am getting closer.

After dinner Arvin and I walked in the park. We saw this little family of baby Mallards with their mom. Too cute. We had a delightful conversation with a man named Jean from Haiti. It was a lovely evening.
