More of these nice Americans

I went to Arduaine this morning to meet a couple from Montana, Paul and Rachel, who are touring Scotland. They'd asked me for garden ideas last autumn and after I'd decided to retire, thought it would be fun to go back and meet them anyway. A very pleasant couple and I spent a few hours with them.

Spotted this moth on a timber post this afternoon and really thought it was a chip of wood - even the knife cuts are visible! Not as sharp as I would like, but I thought I'd use it for my extra today.

Don't know what it is - any ideas Blippers?
