Houll

Overcast and cooler today.  The sun tried to get through a few times but not for long. 

Day off and kept myself busy with household chores this morning.  Me and Brian went for lunch in Lerwick and then headed out for a run in the car.  We headed out west and towards Waas.  Stopped off at Burraland and I took Sammy for a walk around the hills.  After tea, I got out into the garden for a few hours.  General tidy up and pruned some bushes too.  A fine walk with Sammy and now relaxing evening with the telly :) 

Me and Sammy came across this lovely old house whilst we were walking.  So sad to see it falling into major disrepair and a lot of work urgently needed, so sad the folk won't sell it on.  Another abandoned croft I'd love to see with the lights on again :)  Houll, Burraland, Waas.
