Thursday: The Old Pharmacy Pub

Not long after K. and I first arrived, we went to 'The Old Pharmacy Pub' and found it so dire and lacking in atmosphere that we vowed never to go back.  Tonight we ate our words and it wasn't so bad.....

We were due to meet Morana and Newman at 'Bar Cek', a newish place in town but it was heaving (probably because it has the cheapest beer in town) and, even by our standards, very smoky so the nearest option was the 'Old Pharmacy'.

Like I said, it wasn't so bad - it's very much based on an English pub.  But it still lacks a certain something that I can't quite put my finger on.  It didn't matter, though, as the company was excellent.
