A bird in the hand ...

... is worth 4 in the tractor?!

This nest of little wagtails is situated in the gap to the left of the prop shaft, below the black electrical socket, underneath the seat.

Apparantly, they nest here every year, and follow the tractor around when it's in use. Successive generations must use the same place as its been used for 20 years, I was told.

Meanwhile, Tinker was having a snooze in his favourite place.

Last day at my morning job. Sad to say goodbye to the horses. On the positive side it means a lie-in on Monday!!!

Will have to try again next week to get the forget-me-nots!
