Early morning today

The morning was really pretty but then the wind got up and by 3 o'clock, exactly as the forecast had predicted, the clouds rolled in and we had thunder and heavy rain falling absolutely vertically for about 10 minutes. I haven't been out to see how much, but it has stopped now, 4:20 pm. Such is Kansas weather. It comes and goes.
Spent an hour or so with I this afternoon. He is in good spirits and trying hard to improve his speech.
