A school drop off; then straight into shopping. And home to tidy up, laundry etc.
Another school pick up at lunchtime; followed by the Fri PM drama run; and more shopping in between times.

By 4 I had worked up a thirst so headed for home; admired some timber operations (thank gawd for chain saws - you couldn't listen to its operator for long..! But the patient looked better. Well - less jammy, perhaps)

After a quick turn around, I headed to hers; rucksack filled with chilled voignier, some roses, a crumble topping...)
A Friday glass or two of wine with some pistachio / feta dip; then the spot hitting chicken / prosciutto / mozzarella with asparagus and finally a rhubarb crumble with ice cream.

At the appointed hour, I exited and was home by 9; a deep sleep ensued.
