Poundsbridge Manor

Passed this house on my way through my local country lanes and it provided the perfect blip today because I only had to take 3 steps from the car to take the shot.  It has quite an interesting history because it is the oldest surviving house built by local building firm Durtnell & Sons . They were founded in 1591 and are still going, having seen the business handed down through 13 generations. They claim to be the oldest building company in Britain.
