House Sparrow (Passer domesticus)

Some may say I really am scraping the barrel a bit with this very common little bird, but it is a legitimate bird capture as it is most definitely a very familiar bird in Oman. Today is silly hot and so I just stepped outside my door to see what I could come up with bird wise! Crag Martin, Bee-eater, Sunbird and House Sparrow, to name just a few but with the sun blasting down carrying my big camera and lens around is really not fun. This male Sparrow is checking me out as to the threat I may be to his little chicks which are in a nest in the A/C unit-no threat here little chap! Apparently it is set to be a bit cooler tomorrow, but 47° in the shade is just plain ridiculous!
