Building up the base...

A little bit of fiddling today.  Added some longer grass fibres of a slightly different colour and  glued them into yesterday's shorter patches.  left some clear gloss varnish in a couple of rocky hollows overnight and it now looks like wet rocks with tiny pools.  Finally laid a few sheets of cobbles.  Sounds easy but they have to be fitted so the don't look like sheets, so that they merge without visible joins.  Glued my fingers together a couple of times.  Oh joy.
