Saint Gerlach pine

In 2002 there were 53 horses pulling the wagon which carried the pine from the woods into Banholt. Today there were less. The pine is heavy and long. But the horses are to impress the neighbouring villages.
It is no maypole. It is the Saint Gerlach pine, in honour of Gerlach of Houthem.
