Festival

After a busy morning of getting my car MOT'd (it passed!) and my hair cut, we awaited the arrival of my brother and his family.

They got here at lunch time and after we were all fed and watered we went to the festival in the village. The sun was shining and we had a fantastic time. The children went on lots of rides (which cost a fortune), we had ice creams whilst watching a live band, mooched about the craft stalls, watched the dog show, saw some farm animals and bumped into lots of people we knew. It was a great community day. Credit is due to the organisers who do a great job every year.

Kiddies were straight to bed this evening, leaving me and Mr J to enjoy a curry and Eurovision!
