Peregrine

A  much more civilized start before heading of to the Mill near Cheltenham for lunch. In my youth it was the local pub to go to for food as in a seventies sea of pretty average ploughmans, the Mill specialized in Chicken in the Basket, at the time the height of gastronomic fashion.. Forty years on, it is still on the menu.
A really pretty village and pub as in yesterday's blip with my mother and yours truly standing outside it.
On then to Eton for the night and impressed to see this Peregrine, which has been roosting on the Eton College chapel (where the game of Eton Fives originated) for the last week or so. Another opportunity to visit a local hostelry after getting soaked having a stroll on the banks of the Jubilee River.
