Babies!!!!

I am so excited I can hardly stand it. I walked past the bush with the nest I showed you several days ago and saw the mama and realized it was the female Cardinal. No wonder I've seen the male so much!! He's a macho protector, that's for sure. Anyway, I moved too close and she flushed so, of course, I couldn't help it, I had to look. There are two bright red babies in there!!! (I know this is an all around lousy picture but I know you'll forgive me- I was in a hurry so the mom could get back to work.)
