Get me out of here!

Not the clearest of photos, but just had to do a shot of this young starling who had gone head first into the feeder to eat the fat balls!

I thought I might have a rescue mission on my hands, but after a struggle it managed to get out!

8 young starlings have eaten 4 fat balls today! I will have to stock up with more tomorrow.

Another lovely Summers day! Even warmer than yesterday!

Would you believe it something has gone wrong with our heating/water!
We cannot turn the heating off! Hottest this year and we are roasting!!
British Gas came out this afternoon. (24hours after reporting it)
A very nice young lad tried to sort it, but is coming back with his boss tomorrow, and the part which needs replacing. He says he has never seen a heating system like ours before, and doesn't know quite what to do!
We told him it would be good experience for him!
As this cottage is 200 years everything seems to be wrong way round, up side down, or back to front!

Anyhow hope it all gets sorted tomorrow!
