Your man was having a great time going round in circles in his little (lighter-fuel powered) steam boat.  

There was more than the normal boats today - some kind of event, which was fun, but I think they need to work on their diversity.  There were three ladies, but they were making tea.  The steam boats were great, but the speedboats were a bit noisy.  One of them turned over, and they actually had a miniature rescue boat to send out to rescue it. 

A day full of achievement and sun.  Even got to the allotment in the evening, where the birds serenaded my cleaning out and organising the shed.
