The Great spotted woodpecker has been very vocal recently so easy to spot as you have a warning that it's nearby. It popped down and landed on the new pagoda pole before feeding from the suet square. As much as I like to see him I was concerned yesterday as he spotted the nestbox that the bluetits are in and had a look inside. Luckily the bluetits scared him off so I hope he does nt visit them again.
Rather a dull day, the sun soon disappeared and we were covered in a layer of cloud.
