Binscarth Bluebells (Day 374)
I walked the dogs in thick drizzle this morning. It was almost like walking through fog as there was so little wind. The dogs didn't mind as they tore off into the murk chasing after a rabbit.
Back home, I sorted out a few things then headed to town to deal with a little job.
The dogs were delighted to have me home later and as the weather improved I took them out to Wasdale via Binscarth. It is a walk I haven't done for ages as the path had become so waterlogged and boggy it was a filthy affair. Thankfully it has dried out a great deal and I came home with reasonably clean dogs. I stopped in the woods to grab a shot of the bluebells which are bursting out all over the place. The woods are very colourful with fresh green leaves and bluebells, and the air is filled with the strong smell of wild garlic.
So glad to have my beautiful wife home from her 24 hour shift at work.
