Lake Joondalup

We took a stroll around Neil Hawkins Regional park this afternoon, one end of the lake was endless blue with clear reflections from the clouds, from another perspective the other end of Lake was growing darker by the minute with a controlled burn looming in the distance, this practice is common at this time of the year when fire bans are lifted and the forrest workers can do their job of burning the dead fuel on the ground left by the constantly falling eucalyptus leaves during the hot Summer months, these burns are a necessary precaution, the cloud formation was quite a sight..
