Puffin Take Off!

I have had the most wonderful weekend, nicely topped off with a 3 hours cruise of the Yorkshire Belle.

Lots of Gannets, Kittiwakes, Gulls, Guilemots and most treasured of all...Puffins! Saw quite a few today, Bempton Cliffs were a marvel. Kept clicking madly as there was so much to see and you had to be so quick to capture the birds, especially the Puffins...they're very fast! A few flew by with a beak full of fish, no chance of me getting that.

I did get this though. Could have been sharper, but I was pleased to have just got it in frame leaving a 'running' trail behind it as it took off! Looks like it's walking on water!
