Albert Dock

Went to Liverpool for the first time today and I was utterly impressed!

Went on a Yellow Duck to do a tour of the city and docks. This proved a great way to see everything and to get some great pictures from a different perspective.

Spent the 2 hours after that wanderinjg around Albert Dock. What a wonderful place it is! The sun was shining so it was bliss to sit there having a beer and taking a steady stroll around the place .

I want to go back so that I have a chance to wander around the city centre. I need to do a drink in The Cavern and take photos of the street that was used as Baker Street in Sherlock Holmes (the best one, with Jeremy Brett...my Sherlock hero).

When I got home I went down to the local cinema to finish off my weekend by seeing Dark Knight Rises. It was fabulous and Tom Hardy (my favourite actor) was great considering he had to wear a mask all the way through it!
