to Make Beeswax Foundation

Happily my bees have been bringing in more honey than I expected.  This means that I have had to prepare more sheets of beeswax so that the bees can then convert it in to comb.

Here you see molten wax that has just been poured in to the mould. The top plate is then folded down to create a double sided sheet of wax.  In the background is a sheet of solidified wax that is awaiting trimming to size.

The photograph had to be taken quickly and before the wax started to solidify.

In consequence the sharp eyed will notice a spurious reflection on the wax surface.

Marks will be given to anyone who can read the reflection....
