Addo scene

Day two at Addo, we had more good sightings, but I chose this photo which shows the reserve stretching down to the sea...Addo is now known as home to the Big Seven, not just the Big Five as the National Park includes the the Great White Shark and Southern Right Whale.
The animals in this photo are Zebra and Red Hartebees, and in the distance are Eland.
I have added two extras - a black- backed Jackal, and a lone Buffalo who sadly had obviously been in a fight, probably with another buffalo. His rump had been gored and had a gaping wound. I hated seeing this, but nature is harsh, and he will no doubt be food for the lions.
