Starling Invasion

Lovely to see lots of Starling babies this morning - there was a bit of a squabble on when I put fresh mealworms out - our resident Blackbird was not amused by the bad manners of the Starlings and put up quite a protest, but 10 or more parent Starlings and their hungry babies against 1 very angry Blackbird was not a fair fight, and Mr. Blackbird had to back off.  Then it poured with rain and everyone retired to the hedge!!

After yesterday's disappointing hospital appointment I didn't half enjoy my dinner last night!!! and will be stoking up for the next couple of days before I have to start the fasting all over again from Sunday, ugh!
