The Get-a-Way Car

These three furry ones think we've just kidnapped them and made a safe getaway from the kennel.

From the left -- there's Mitzi, Max, and Chloe. They didn't think "Camp Bow-wow" was nearly as much fun as camp at Catalina.

It was a long day with packing-up our things and vacating our tent, the final goodbyes at camp, the 70 minute boat ride to the mainland, the 50 minute freeway drive to home, unloading our suitcases from the car so we could get the pups and all their beds and toys and things.

Getting home to our own shower and our own beds is a luxury. A week on the island was fabulous, but nothing is more lovely than home.
