The Prodigal Bin
Last week, after being emptied, my wheelie bin decided to go for a holiday. I searched the local backstreets but he wasn't to be seen anywhere. However, it's not the first time he's done this and after the previous occasion, I decided to work on the Paddington principle. So, while there isn't a note attached saying "please look after this bin", he does have his home address emblazoned on every surface :)
I didn't exactly kill the fatted calf when I found him parked outside last night, but was relieved that he was back.
Back yard was soo icy tonight that I couldn't get the little car up the small slope into the yard, so it's had to stay outside. This means it will most definitely be an icebucket tomorrow... it usually gets a bit of shelter in the yard, meaning that the thawing and scraping procedure isn't quite so bleurgh.
edit: the forecast is supposed to be for alot of snow tonight... maybe I'll manage a more exciting/seasonal blipm tomorrow...especially if I can't actually get the car down to the road first thing!
