Dripping (Day 378)
It was relatively bright when the dogs and I made our way up the hill this morning, but overnight rain had left the ground pretty wet.
Once home I thought I would spend a little while in the shed working on a piece of carving. The lettering is all very small and it is taking a lot longer than I would have expected, but it is getting there.
I had a quick lunch and headed out with the dogs to Binscarth and up the path to Wasdale. According to the GPS tracker I did 4 miles at an average pace of 12 minutes 56 per mile. It rained the entire time. I paused in the woods on the way back to photograph drips on the ends of fresh green leaves.
I am very glad to have my beautiful wife home from what sounds like it has been a horrible shift at work. I shall administer gin.
