Under the bridge

An unpleasantly grey morning down by the river in Kingston. This is the far more utilitarian looking bridge which carries the railway across the Thames.

Very happy to see that England finished the job against Sri Lanka - less happy with the seemingly inevitable jingoistic hyperbole which is now pouring forth from certain commentators.

Had the pleasure of being splattered all round the court by a very strong pair in the club doubles tournament - it was always going to happen but it was nice to lose in such a friendly atmosphere.
