Runnymede

Today we visited Runnymede - a fascinating place, the site where the Magna Carta was signed 800 years ago in 1215. The photo is of a piece of artwork called The Jurors - formed of 12 bronze chairs each decorated with images and symbols relating to past and ongoing struggles for freedom, rule of law and equal rights. We also saw some memorials - a very well done.
From there we went to Windsor then Eton for a wander around.
Packing this evening - off to Dublin early tomorrow - not sure what the Internet will be like at the hotel!
