Hazel's Cottage

Part of the reason for our trip was to help my Aunt move into her hew flat in a sheltered housing complex - but the move was delayed so we helped her with packing up the old cottage instead. This is the back garden.

One job she wanted done was to retrieve her old (dead) cat from the garden as she didn't want to leave him there. Luckily my sister did it instead (it took ages to find him apparently) and put him in a plant pot so that Hazel could keep him on the balcony at her new home. The story was not quite so funny when we found out it was the cat's ashes, rather than a skeleton, that had to be dug up - but it still gave us a laugh!!
