Stonehaven
Woke up early this morning planning to go to Stonehaven Sunday Car Boot Sale in the Market Square. A bit of a disappointment as there were only three stalls there. However, there was a lot of excitement and crowds because the Local Tractor Road Run was passing through the town. There must have been over a hundred tractors - see part of collage. The town Land Train was also in operation and looking very smart. Stonehaven would be nothing without its Seagulls so I have given him pride of place. Not sure he deserves it though looking at the first inset. The owner was busy cleaning off the mess as I passed by. He said even although there had been a heavy sleet fall this morning the mess still stuck fast. There were weren’t any gulls around at that moment so I asked him where the gulls were then. ‘Gone to find another victim,’ he said with a sigh. When I got back to Montrose it started to rain quite fast - it was amazing because steam started to rise from the road! Hope you are having a good Sunday!
