View from Wandope

Two more Wainwrights in the bag today in the shape of Whiteless Pike and Wandope which brings our tally to 96.   

What a fabulous day for a walk.  Perfect conditions and fantastic views.  We briefly met up with the runners doing the 50km fell run which is part of the Keswick Mountain Festival.  Total madness!!

The descent from Wandope down the side of Addacomb Hole was seriously steep.  I was glad we were going down although it was hard on the legs.

My extra shows a view down Rannerdale with Crummock and Loweswater in the distance.  If you look carefully you can see the bluebells.
