Captivated

How do you sum up a day spent wandering around the city of Edinburgh? Five years ago I would have had photographs of the castle and panoramas of Arthur's Seat to choose from. Now I have virtually nothing except shots of people! The 'sights' didn't really interest me that much but it was fascinating today to witness people from all over the world soaking up the atmosphere of one of the truly great cities of the world. I'm not sure I've ever experienced such a strong feeling of living in 'one world' as I did today. It felt like everyone wanted to be part of the history they found around them.
