Scotland's Big Nature Festival today (I preferred it when it was called Scottish Birdfair, easier to say and type!). We saw lots of interesting talks, I went on a birdsong walk and also bought a book about crossbills that I had had my eye on for a while.

I took an almost identical photo a couple of years ago but with a proper camera, spot the difference! Hint, I had wanted to focus on the bird here too!

Lovely day but a huge downpour at 1 pm. A Golden Oriole had been sighted but sadly I didn't spot it. Poor wee thing all on its own. :-(
