Bruce in Chorlton

A splendid walk around Chorlton-cum-Hardy today, with Andy, Martin, Chris and, as seen here, Bruce at Chorlton Water Park.

Our route took in sights such as the remains of Longford Hall, built in 1857, demolished for some reason in 1995, leaving only a small part of the Facade; the River Mersey; and the Southern Cemetery, which we couldn't enter without risking a £1000 fine.

We also enjoyed philosophy on Beech Road, multiple signage along Barlow Moor Road, and unexpectedly intrepid cattle. I shudder to think what Sugar Hair Removal might entail. No, we didn't.
