And the sun goes down.....

Took 2 cows and the Limousin bull the vet tested last week down to the mart at St Boswells today. It was an eventful journey with roads closed and a few wobbles as they rumbled around, but we got there. One cow was 19 years old and made £100 more than she cost to buy as a heifer in 1999 !
Came home a different route to avoid the closed road this time.
Managed to get 10 loads of slurry on one of the silage fields tonight. Will be upsetting the neighbours with the stink . They have started cutting their silage today, and we only took the sheep out our fields on Friday !
