Floozie in the Jacuzzi.

V and I went to Birmingham City Centre today to meet some old friends and we also enjoyed a very convivial lunch with them in the Art Gallery restaurant.

We walked through Victoria Square and I photographed the most prominent statue there, properly known as The River Goddess Fountain. The original and most important statue is, of course, Queen Victoria and I did photograph her but her statue is not so controversial.

We also visited Brindley Place and I photographed The Malt House pub but those who have viewed my recent blips have probably seen enough pictures of pubs on canals for a while. I took a few snaps of the new Central Library which looks extremely impressive but it's not quite finished yet.

After all our recent moaning, wasn't the weather brilliant today?
