a garden day

After a few hours of hedge trimming and lawn mowing I set to work clearing out all the garden kit I’ve accumulated over the years. Pots, fertilisers, tools and a lot more. This was followed by a trip to the tip/recycling site.  Got so carried away that I never thought about a blip until almost 5 o’clock.

This Aquilegia which was catching the last bit of sun in the garden would never qualify for the Chelsea flower show (watched later on tv) but fortunately blip isn’t as fussy :)  By the time I realised there were bits of beech hedge on it and knocked them off the sun had gone.
