White Mallard Duck

White mallard?  Daddy and ducklings look normal, but Mama should be the same brown color as the ducklings. Instead, Mama got a dye job and is bleached to 100% pure genuine blonde (as my daughter calls my hair).

The mother duck is not a true albino, as a true albino would be white and pink. It's likely the descendant of an escaped domestic white mallard breeding with wild mallards.
