St Rollox Banner, Springburn, Glasgow

I was over at St Rollox Church in Springburn today, helping with their community cafe and shop.  This is one of the banners on the wall.

The R with the railway track and train represents the railway and locomotive works which were located right across the road from the church. Locomotives, wagons and carriages were all built here.

The O for the World, to represent the many asylum seekers and refugees who are welcomed here.

The two letters Ls - the high rise flats in Springburn.
