National museum of Ireland

The weather was beautiful today so spent a lot of time outside. Went up to the amazing Phoenix Park - huge area 6 times the size of London's Hyde Park. Then popped into St Michan's church for a tour of their crypt- they have naturally mummified bodies there which cannot be explained - only happens in very dry places normally but this is not far from the Liffey. The scientists can't explain it - fascinating place. I took a photo there but thought it may be a bit too graphic!
Then had a lovely walk right through the city and ended at the National museum of Ireland - another fascinating place to visit.
As the sun was still beautiful I hopped on the open topped bus again for a tour around. Then went to the Natural History Museum - known locally as the dead zoo! Much better than I feared it may be. Slow wander back to the hotel via a beautiful park.
