In the Wicklows

Today I went on a coach tour around the Wicklow Mountains area.
Our first stop was at the Glencree visitors centre then off into the National Park. A photo stop at the bridge famed from the PS I Love You film - so pretty around there.
Then down to Glendaloigh where there are the remains of a 10th century monastery. I went for a lovely walk up into the hills then back down passed a couple of lakes - the photo is the upper lake. The whole area is just so tranquil. Late lunch stop was in a village called Avoca - we went into a lovely Irish pub - stew for me again. Then driven back to Dublin - an excellent day trip.
