Bamburgh Castle - 15th May Backblip

Another warm and sunny day with a cool breeze off the north sea.
We walked along the beach from Beadnell to Bamburgh, which is a really pretty little village with an award-winning butchers and where we bought pies for dinner.  We caught the bus back, managing to get front seats on the top deck giving us a view of the walk we'd just done.

We had lunch on the beach in the company of a Heron which didn't even bother to move when we got up to continue our walk.  See extra.  Being Sunday it was also busy on the beach and I've included an extra showing the number of people walking towards us.

This is a picture of the castle from the croquet lawn.
